Oxirane, methyl-, polymer with oxirane, ether with
1,2,3-propanetriol grafted with styrene, acrylonitrile, CAS #
68541-83-3, 57913-80-1
|

This graph illustrates the relationship of molecular weight to hydroxyl
number and equivalent weight of a triol before grafting with styrene,
acrylonitrile and allyl glycidyl ether. The vinyl polymer is in
dispersed form, therefore the viscosity increase due to grafting is
not proportional to MW, but is related to particle size and crowding
of particles.. |

The fact that a compound is not listed under a
specific CAS # in a countries inventory does not mean this compound cannot
be used, it can be an exempt compound or polymer which does not require
listing, or it can be listed in a different category. Ask your supplier. |
Under EINECS regulations this compound would
qualify as a polymer and is therefore exempt from registration. |

Commercial
Products or generic terms used for products. For manufacturer see Polyether MFCT. |
Most
manufacturer use either MW or Hydroxyl number as a part of their code to identify
products. Color codes indicates what methods of identification was
used. |

Polymer polyols are being manufactured by a number
of companies, the exact composition is normally not being disclosed. The
producer of polyols generally identified these polyols as styrene or
acrylonitrile modified. |
